Milton Monroy comes from a traditional coffee-growing family and has always

been surrounded by coffee. Constantly striving for improvement and better

results, Milton began his journey in coffee with a conventional farm. However,

over the years, he transitioned to specialty coffee after recognizing its

potential for growth and opportunity.

His farm, San Cayetano Alto, is located near the city of Ibagué, along the

slopes of Colombia's central mountain range, offering a breathtaking view of

the snow-capped Nevado del Tolima. This region boasts exceptional climatic

conditions that contribute to the production of outstanding coffee.

Driven by his relentless pursuit of knowledge, Milton has dedicated himself to

understanding coffee and its processes, enabling him to produce high-quality

coffee. This particular lot is a testament to his dedication-he carefully

balances environmental sustainability with precise drying and fermentation

techniques. Always seeking the highest quality, he has meticulously trained

his cherry pickers to select only the best, perfectly ripe cherries, even

performing a second selection before fermentation.
