Fifty years ago, this farm was completely isolated, with no streets or roads leading to it. The only way to reach the area was on foot or horseback. Two routes existed—both still used today—that crossed the summit, forming a visible cross from afar. This landmark inspired the name given by Grace’s grandfather. When Grace’s father later took over, he still faced the challenge of having no suitable roads for transporting heavy equipment. Determined to modernize the farm, he studied mechanics and purchased machinery in small parts, assembling everything once it arrived. Thanks to his persistence, this became the first farm in the region to introduce mechanized processes.

Surrounded by virgin jungle, the farm is home to an incredible variety of species. Although it covers 350 hectares, coffee represents less than 2% of the land. The rest is dedicated to fruits and vegetables grown for local sale and export. For the extended family, the farm has long served as a gathering place for celebrations and holidays. 

Today, Grace manages both natural and washed coffee processes. Experimenting with different methods allows her to offer diverse flavor profiles. She works closely with her brother, and the whole family helps during busy seasons. Grace and Bryan planted their coffee trees only three years ago, and this year they proudly celebrated their first full harvest.
